Three metric system problems


1.     How many centimeters are in 3 kilometers? 


2.     A person has two glasses of water.  One has 130 milliliters in it.  The other has 6 centiliters in it.  What is the total amount of water in milliliters?  What is the total amount of water in centiliters?    The water in both glasses is poured into a 1.0 liter jug.  What percent of the jug is empty?


3.     A rectangle has one side that is 2 meters and a second side that is 320 centimeters wide.  What is the perimeter of the rectangle in meters and in centimeters?  What is the area of the rectangle in square meters and square centimeters?
